Google announced the update in February, which penalizes websites that are not mobile-friendly by dropping their search engine rankings. The update is due to 60% of online traffic now coming from mobile devices and Google wanting to give these users the best experience possible. The search engine giant will be favoring websites with large text, easy-to-click links, and those that adjust to fit different screen sizes.
